Beaufort SC

12/28/24 - We took Busy Living (B) up the ICW to Beaufort SC. About an 90 minute cruise. They have a free town day dock that is first come first serve. Luckily there was plenty of room for us. Enjoyed lunch and exploring in town. The town dock doesn't allow overnight docking and the Safe Harbour marina next door didn't have room for us. So we went down a ways to Port Royal and stayed overnight at the Safe Harbour facility there. Woke to dense fog making for radar navigation on the trip home. Great first trip on the B. Update: She is a real looker! Over the last week or so, we've heard from three people we know who recognized the boat while on our passage or at the docks in Beaufort.
